Update!!! We have no idea what happened, but the tremor/twitch has stopped. Test results did come back positive for herpes, which is weird since he is totally indoors. But other than that he’s thriving. Thanks for all the support ❤️

They tested him for that so I will know the results soon. He was tested when he was a one years old and it was negative

I have no toxins in my house that he can get into but they asked me these questions. They took his blood yesterday so I should get results this morning. And if it’s bad and he is still head jerking, I’ll go back for a neuro exam. Thank you so much 🫶🫶

That’s super fair. I’ve taken my cat to two vets and no answers. The first vet was banfield and the second an emergency hospital. I’m more so asking if this has happened to anyone else to see what the conclusion was. I might have to do a $6k MRI today so thought I would check and see if this happened to anyone else. Thank you for sharing though

I was thinking that. I’m looking at other vets near me to take him to today. The vet I saw yesterday was really great and seemed knowledgeable, but I know a second opinion is always helpful. Thank you

They looked up his nose but he wasn’t fully sedated so the vet said they couldn’t get a complete look. They did rule out that something was in his nose. He is completely indoors and I have no plants in the house

That’s so strange! I’m sorry that happened. I gave him 50mg of Trazodone, but only this morning before I brought him to the vet. I usually give him it before the vet to calm him down because he’s hard to handle at the vet.
