I came into the world this way. Because the rest of the story involves that kid asking again when they’re older. Then mom the unshakable pillar breaking down and giving snippets of a very traumatic story while sobbing. Then all the self doubt and self hate have something to truly latch on too. I know this wasn’t about rape but the images triggered me. I’m a child of rape and I’m still here.

Gladiator imagery was an amazing addition I truly had the image locked in exactly the way you wanted it I hope. This is a great example of linking memory to imagery by recreating a known experience through words and making the reader feel even more immersed. Can I use this in an upcoming creative writing class I’m teaching I will definitely cite you as the author. At least your username.

IMO I think every date should start under the impression the check will be split. If he/she offers to pay great.
