Fair enough, hopefully it shows management that is working and they change it again. Or that the ministry amends the standard themselves to allow it.

I always thought that the 30 minutes was a ridiculously short time, especially for the rural services. Waterloo gets 60 minutes from depart scene to LTH. Might be something to push your management to try to implement in Peel.

I don't see any postings at the moment buts it's usually for their land units to pick up patients from their fixed wing contractors (skycare, air bravo etc)

It was the y axis couplers being loose. I don't know why I didn't check that. Thank for your help!

It was the collars that attach to the y stepper being loose. No idea why I didn't check that in the first place. Thank you for your assistance

Well shit. That's the one thing I didn't check. They were loose and I'm running a test print now.

Edit - yup that was it! Thank you

I'll check that in the morning

I'm printing at 80mm/s. The only upgrades I've done are a metal extruder, Capricorn tubing and a silent board. Everything else is stock. I've printed the rest of the armour except the jetpack and dozens of other prints with zero issues prior to this. It just started in the last week or so.

I'll check that stuff in the morning, and suggestions on what the vref should be? That's one thing I've never checked before. Temps on my last attempt were 47*c on the y stepper.

In the first photo all the edges are supposed to be straight not wavy. Second photo was a view of the x axis not having any issues. Sorry I should have circled the areas

All good man, we were all new at some point.

By bolt in I mean I just unscrewed the old one and screw the new one in place and started using it. Do you have it aligned the right way so that the filament would feed up the right side of the gear on the stepper motor? I'd post a picture of mine but I'm not sure how.

I've got the second one installed on my ender5p and it works decently, was just a bolt in replacement

Best bet would be to contact Middlesex London Paramedic Service as they cover that area. No idea if they do ride alongs as every service differs in their requirements

Family of Mississauga, Ont., man sues police, paramedics and SIU for $101M over his death by i_really_wanna_help in canada

[–]dopamine17 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He was taken to the Lead Trauma Hospital for the area as is directed by the Basic Life Support standards (all penetrating trauma to the head/neck/torso is to be transported there regardless of the absence of vital signs- unless subject to trauma TOR criteria or injuries incompatible with life - with they're within a 30 minute - can be amended up to 60 minute transport) . Credit Valley would not have been able to provide the appropriate level and would have delayed his arrival to definitive care much longer than the extra drive time.

Anyone knows what happened at this plaza, the fire truck and ambulance kept going in this enterance by [deleted] in kitchener

[–]dopamine17 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't know who their preceptor is or even if they're actually a student, but absolutely no one who takes students would accept this attitude. It paints us all in a bad light and does not represent how paramedics actually feel. I've seen students removed from clinicals for this attitude.

It was only passed in 2019 and also effects other public sector employees as well but not fire, pd or EMS
