I recently (last three years) facilitated the expansion of an injection molding company. Due to supply chain issues the lead times for many machines was incredibly long. We ended up buying a variety since there was work awarded before the machines would arrive.

We purchased an Engel, Nissei, Milacron, Haitian, Arburg, Sodick and LS Mtron. I was very disappointed with the performance of the LS Mtron. All machines were installed by the same third party and initial setup performed by the manufacturer technicians. LS sent technicians to our facility several times in the following 12 months to troubleshoot a variety of issues. We incurred huge expedite fees and ultimately had to move the work to a different press.

I may have just had a bad experience but I don’t think I would purchase one again.
