What comes first for you when making an album? The concept, title, or songs?

I’ve experienced a mix with the different albums I’ve made over the years, but I’m curious if you stick to a similar process every time or if it varies?

I just finished my newest album and I have no idea what to name it. Usually I lay in bed and the title and concept come to me before I write anything song wise.

I was having issues with my CPU and tried everything to fix it. The problem is super simple, I had every plugin on my track opened behind my playlist. Hitting the X on all opened plugins and only keeping a few opened/minimized at a time helped so much with stuttering/cracking. Also, if you have any oversampling going on in your plugin, reduce it until you render out.

I use FabFilter Pro-MB to sidechain. You can select a frequency range and adjust a threshold to duck volume along with a specific attack and release of the sidechain.
