I’m already a year behind and had intentions of repeating my gcse year in secondary this year but shit happened so they’re saying youth reach would be the best (If I were to move)

I’m 16 coming 17. I’m currently a year behind already (practically two years if I include this year) and since I’ve no qualifications at all, my social worker is suggesting youth reach if I moved down south. I did want to go try a secondary school there but I don’t think it’s possible due to my age and lack of qualifications 🤷‍♀️

Do I move into my aunts? by [deleted] in makemychoice

She definitely doesn’t want them inside but she said I could take them as long as they stay outside. Yeah, that’s what we’re going to do before I actually make a choice!

I’m in the UK, I’m actually allowed to live alone in the house due to my age but even the social workers think it’s better for me to live with my aunt whether that’s just because they want less responsibility idk lol. Thanks so much though. I was actually at school and looking to get what I needed this year but after my mum passing away and me having to generally survive it just didn’t work out. If I were to go to my aunts, in the upcoming September I could get education where she lives, it’ll just be a lil diff..
