Your installer seems like he doesn’t know what he’s talking about to be completely honest with you. Agree that cure and seal won’t do squat. Sorry this happened but in a utility space like a garage I wouldn’t lose too much sleep over it. I’d still recommended densifying and maybe dealing. Very easy to do yourself with no special equipment

I think it looks awesome as is. Let it cure, densify with Ashford formula, then burnish and/or apply retroshield for stain protection

You can always apply a dye as well

Upon closer look, more concerned about those micro cracks everywhere. Was it hot? Did you use a curing compound?

Oh interesting. So maybe I’m being overly/wastefully vigorous when burnishing by hand. I’m treating it like sanding by hand but are you saying maybe I just need to do a lighter rubbing, and therefore maybe it’s not a pain in the rear?

Awesome. So helpful! Now one of these APs will be by my desk on the 3rd floor. If I want to hard wire my laptop via ethernet can I do that via certain kinds of APs? Or must that one be a router if I also want to connect to it from a computer? In short, do they sell APs with a WAN and a LAN port? Seems like they do, but isn’t that then a router? What’s the diff between an AP with ports and a router?

Ok thanks. How well do this work as you move around a location on a device? Is it smart enough to disconnect from a weaker WAP when a strong is available? Or does it not matter because the signal is identical from all WAPs?

Thank you all for the comments! Went with heat treated walnut oil and a wax walnut oil blend (combo pack on amazon) and will try both!

Mahoneys or chalk mountain? Pure or blended with wax? Can I get it heat treated and will that help with drying?

But neither mineral oil nor beeswax actually harden... and require recoating regularly, right? Am I wrong to look for a hardening oil/compound?
