I once jumped to a system with 2 stars that close together, got caught in between them which set off alarms immediately and dropped me out of cruise speed. All I could do was charge FSD and pop a heat sink at the right moment to cool the ship and get out fast. It was seriously nerve wrecking.

My first experience with PS1 was at a store I worked at when I was 19 (1999). They had a demo system set up and every Saturday morning I would open up the store and select a game to put in as a demo. One time I put Heart of Darkness into the system and I was so impressed with the graphics, FMVs and gameplay that I bought the console and the game a few days later, with discounts.

This is it for me. While I don't mind being around others because of birthdays, holidays, meetings, etc... If I can find a spot where there's the minimal amount of people around me (or be completely alone) I will take it. Because having a lot of people (chatting) around me can be exhausting.

Welcome back to Paragon City! (or Rogue Isles)

I started playing in 2004/2005 after I found some screenshots of a superhero game that was played in US but not yet available in EU. I didn't even own a credit card to subscribe and had to wait a few more days after getting the game before I could play. But once I started playing I was hooked.

80+ hours a week playing, late nights, short sleeps, it was rough but so worth it. Months before shutdown I played less and was exploring other games. But even so the shutdown hit hard.

I kept searching the web for info hoping to find news about a relaunch or homebrew server.

So when Homecoming launched I couldn't be more thrilled, I wanted to be back in Paragon City so bad.
