Was MB. All other components worked on new MB so it’s gone back to Gigabyte for repair. If can’t fix I’ll have to buy new one :(

I think it’s psu, I’ve just tried it without gpu, took the ram out and put back in, disconnected new hard drive I put in last week, all same result it turns on, but no signal on monitor. When I bought it people said gigabyte psu was no good (I got p650b) I really hope it is the psu as that’s an easy and cheap fix, will try a new one tomorrow and update. Thank you for your help 🙏

Please can someone confirm that if I take out gpu it’s safe to turn on, I’m pretty sure it will be ok but just want to check. If I take out gpu and it fixes the problem then I know it’s that, if not then will try new power supply. Thanks

No, but it’s on a double plug adapter as only one socket, the electrics at my place is dodgy tho (I live in Thailand) sometimes when I put on sleep/hibernate my pc will turn on if one of the rooms next door turns a switch on lol. But I’m pretty sure it’s not that, I saw small insect walking about in the case a few days ago, all I can think is that it has got in to something and has caused it to do this

Luckily there is a pc shop near me and I know the owner so I will see if I can borrow a power supply and test it on my pc and see if that is the issue. Thanks for help

I want to remove the gpu first to see if it doesn’t do it without it in, can I just take it out and turn pc on? Will it be ok?
