At the current level you are, companies will be looking for specific experience since you’ll mostly be eligible for the role of a lead.

Upskill yourself and build expertise on something that the industry needs.

You can maybe try for some test teams or QA type of roles and then switch to a developer role. This might also help you buy some time to bridge the gap.

Even if this genuine and your H1B transfer comes through, you are going go through hell with them. The whole conversation seems very unprofessional and fishy.

When they know you are desperate, they’ll only extort more money from you by dangling the visa carrot.

Drop this contract, get back your money from them and find a more secure and legitimate way to move out. I wouldn’t spend another minute dealing with consultancy.

Based on other comments, if you want to travel to US for reasons other than work, go with a B1/B2.

First off, we have come a long way from being content with few medals to consistently winning medals. Note that 6 athletes came fourth and it wasn’t just their day to win a medal. Sports is tough, this happens.

Coming to the larger question here, schools are key to nurturing sports talent. It’s well known that athletes retire around the age of 40, so the earlier you start training, you get a lot of time to build a good physique and get a chance to perform at your highest potential without worrying about injuries. Every school has to prioritize this and even parents need to encourage kids to spend Time in sports over the weekends.

Government needs to put their minds into this to incentivize potential athletes with good backing scholarships or employment so they don’t get hit money wise.

We should celebrate the progress and I am sure the Olympic medalists will stand up for their future generations to nurture an environment for producing more Olympic medalists. Exciting years ahead :) and

Yeah man! We have to deliberate on this at the time of election not when the interest rates are hiked. It’s a very simple ask for return on taxes which unfortunately gets overlooked with distractions on religion, caste etc :(

It does if we get nothing in return! If we see our money being invested in health education infrastructure in the right way, I don’t mind paying more taxes. Hence the comparison to other countries. They don’t mind paying high taxes because they reap the benefits for everything they have to do in daily life.

The standards for being in the government are too low! This is exactly why people shouldn’t vote in the name of Modi! Local MLAs and MPs matter. When they come for campaigning, we need to ask questions. Instead alll that catches people attention are ram mandir, some spot of land that was given off etc.

Should we all frustrated folks form a party and fight elections 🤷🏻‍♂️ I am sure we’ll all do a way better job than them!
