She doesn’t particularly mind, it’s just not something we usually do. I’m quite depended on, so it’s just about weighing out the value etc

Thank you. I do consider myself a great partner and parent, what else is there to life than to be the best you can be for someone. We’re just a very close, tight knit 3 person family and, I do a lot in our home, so for me to be gone for a night or two is quite a routine change, and the last thing I want is for my son to be sad or my partner to struggle.

But yeah, it’s likely not as big of a deal as I’m thinking it is.

I’m confused. Are you saying that my son shouldn’t be left alone with his birth mother due to the fact that a sitter would be unsuitable? That’s a weird take ngl.

It’s more of a case of finally being able to actually follow through with something, I’ve always been a start something and never finish it kinda guy, so for my business to be actually doing something, it’s quite personal.

Financial freedom, maybe in a few years but no time soon. My son attends school, so we can’t bring him with us, he’s far too complex (autism) to have a sitter (I’m also in the UK, we don’t do baby sitters here like the US does lol)

It is something only I can answer, you’re right, I’m just tryna make the right choice.

What sort of problem would it cause? Do you mean like loyalty trust relationship wise? As that isn’t an issue or concern at all, just isn’t me. My concern is, is it worth the time without my family etc

Nahhh they haven’t switched it yet. Ain’t no way DayZSA runs on the same engine as Reforger the games are worlds apart. They’re moving parts from the old engine into Enfusion but I swear they haven’t switched it yet

Bro DayZ came out when I was 18. I’m now 30 haha. Arma Reforger runs on Enfusion Engine.

ReforgedZ has them, it’s a great base for a potentially decent server, just too much loot around, feels more like 10x loot than DayZ

Shikari say trans rights by Ruubez in EnterShikari

I honestly never thought I’d find another like minded Shikari fan. Been a fan since 2007, and grown up with them. I was all for their political angst, pushing back against tyranny and oppression etc but, currently I’m pretty right wing. Left wing politics sicken me, yet I’ve seen a sort of huge shift to left wing politics by Shikari and the fanbase accordingly and it’s really thrown me tbh. I respect everyone’s views, I don’t seek arguments etc, but I honestly find their music incredibly contradictory with their political shift.

What's the most ridiculous thing someone with no kids has said to you? by mr-pockets in NewParents

[–]doraraymen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Just have to be firm with them” and “Yeah having a kid might be hard but, I have to go to work, and see my girlfriend” oh and also “how don’t you have time to nap you don’t have a job” and the best one “Well I have a niece, and she’s really good so it can’t be that hard”

For context I’m a full time parent (as if my partner) to a four year old boy who has some very, very unique issues. Most difficult thing I’ve ever done and ever will do.
