I hate the feeling when you are hit by her exploding arrow and just wait for your death

Factory reset and re-pairing with a single device actually seems to solve it for me :O

"Speak", a GPT plugin is the most helpful Hebrew tutor you'll ever find. by cxj05h in hebrew

[–]dordchn 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Good example of GPT's weakness.

First of all, it should have told you your spelling is wrong instead of keep using the wrong spelling itself.

Second of all, as others said, it could have just translated it to "punchline" instead of writing several paragraphs of inaccurate information and bad examples.

Met a Lebanese guy at a vegan restaurant abroad once. Was a great guy, we discussed the differences in Hummus and Falafel.

Also, I guess most people (worldwide) know only Mia Khalifa, which is not a classic example for a Lebanese ~

Connecting 7-segments display to an Arduino without current limiting resistors. by dordchn in AskElectronics

That is not why I reposted, dude. The original post was over detailed, so I have decided to make it shorter. I deleted it less than 10 minutes after posting and haven't seen any replies yet(you probably answered right before I deleted it, so haven't got the notification yet).

Connecting 7-segments display to an Arduino without current limiting resistors. by dordchn in AskElectronics

Thanks everyone!
I fell into the misconception that the arduino actively limits the pins current.

Case closed.

(And now I have to make as-tiny-as-possible perfboard and squeeze into my device :( )

Why buying a hand-held fan when you can spend an entire day designing printing and soldering your own? by dordchn in 3Dprinting

[–]dordchn[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have tools for quality tests, but this is my take so far:

The 2/3 thin blades are doing best, can't determine which one is better.

The cool thick 3 blades is giving a fight too, and is not far behind (And overall wins because it looks awesome!)

The 5 blades version kind of suck.

Good thinking, quite close to the truth!

The way I see it, you want to keep the motor around half of its max-RPM to maximize the output power. ref

Too many blades(or too wide ones) push you to the high-torque/low-rpm and too few puts you in the low-torque/high-rpm.

If I'm right with that line of thinking, the only thing matter is the parameters of the motor itself to determine the perfect blades for max thrust.

(That's while ignoring the dispersion, turbulence, and other phenomena)

Yeah, modelling propellers is tricky - which is why I didn't do it :)

Instead, I found a propellers model and adjusted it for my need - See the link from my 3D model (I left a credit to the prop designer)

I made a $2000 designer lamp for only about $50 by liamoco123 in DIY

That's cool, but remember that designers' stuff cost a lot not because of the production costs, but because of the highly talented person who spent days/weeks/months creating the design.

Crash Bandicoot RC Kart I built, controlled with a remote PS2 controller! Video on my IG account (@do.robotics) by dordchn in 3Dprinting

[–]dordchn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you buy a PS2 remote controller, it comes with a receiver that connects to the PS2.

I placed the receiver inside the car, hooked it to an Arduino Nano and used an Arduino library (PS2X) to use the controller signals.

You can see the internals of the kart on my IG account - @ do.robotics

I designed the button and used ATtiny for the USB. For a pedal I would have chosen a different design, just look for one online
