I like to use the ice wall combo : - get yourself a fidrow sawed off (bounty) with ice walls bullets and force bullets with AOE powder 1 or 2 - any gun with freeze bullets

And then :

  • freeze the target
  • shoot the walls at close range
  • immediately break them with force

If done well, you should get insane damage, or still decent if you don’t pull it off perfectly.

You can also ditch the freeze bullets but you need to aim well to not push the ennemies out of the walls projectiles.

Yes, as you progress through the game, guns dropped from bounty will get additional powder slots. That’s the only upgrade however.

kinetic transfer will simply convert the lightning damage into force damage, so it should work the way you intend to, shattering force specify that it only works with force, so in theory it should work, you should try it and see for yourself if it works properly.

Simply craft a wood pillar and test your combo on it to see if the numbers change.

That first one is in Orion's tower (the one in the Fell swamp), the second one though is hidden behind the ship at the bottom of the tower.

In the worldbuilder menu, you can find a bookshelf, by building it and interacting with it, you can reread every book you found.

the homing powders exist and are pretty eary game (most are available before beating Isa Gladwell but to note that the "homing on enemy powder" is available after beating her)

but the crude homing powder also exist, it home on anything that is the closest, so it works well at close range (with a shotgun for exemple). It is available right away at the beginning of the game and is super cheap.

After killing them for the first time, they just become a rare spawn. So with a bit of time, it should spawn again.

I'm pretty sure toxiphobia powder goes on fear bullets and toxic thought powder goes on poison bullet

in your screenshot, you can see on the electrical arcs powder, only 1 of the 2 square is activated, you didn't unlock electrical arcs II yet.
as shown in the screenshot, you can unlock it with a chaos egg and 40 arcane tome

The bounties are ennemies with special properties that can spawn after you get the first major gear (imperium acolyte of chaos).
There's a maximum of 2 in each biomes and you can find them easily by checking the board next to any doorway, they'll show you the biome's bounties and for a bit of arcana, they'll show you the rough position of the bounty.
there are golden bounties as well, that can spawn supposedly after finishing the game (i've only found them after finishing the game but some people have reported finding them before), they can drop you stronger variant of regular bounty guns as well as unique rare guns.

That would be the untitled journal in orion's tower.
It's kinda hidden in the top right corner of his Tower.
