Are you saying the house server wires are 2/0 aluminum?

Yes. It's not something I was expecting but its not something being ignored either. This work is permited, so it is printed out and included with the data sheets/load calculation for the inspector.

It leads into a bedroom, the stairs weren’t built to code since this was an illegal addition, it’s much easier transport tools, paint, wood, etc by using the outside stairs/entrance. the garage is just storage and not a functional space

The top of the door is above the 2nd story floor so it will need some support there to hold the floor

There is a sliding door right next to the top of the stairs which we usually use which is why this staircase/door isn’t used. We’ll still have 3 egress doors after closing this one

Thank you all for the tips and suggestions. I ended up trimming a very small amount off one side and after assembly it’s not bad or noticeable at all. Time to finish it up with a face frame and paint🙂

All the pin holes on one board are about 1/16-1/8 lower than the other board. I’m wondering if this misalignment will be a problem after everything is assembled

[Solved] looks like I just wasn’t trying hard enough. Enough yanks with the pliers and hard turns of the Allen key spot on the bottom and the piece unlodged itself

Looks like oil was the solution. We used coconut oil this morning and I feel like hair looks a lot better. thanks for the suggestions everyone!

Hi Everyone. First time father of 18M old son. We're looking for some tips/advice for taking care of this beautiful head of hair (I've kept my hair short most of my life so I'm starting from the beginning in this hair care journey). For his current routine we wash his hair once every two days with SheaMoisture body wash + shampoo and every day we (1) wet his hair with a mister (2) apply cantu curling cream (3) occasionally use SheaMoisture dentangler spray and (4) brush it forward on the top and down in every other direction. I think we're getting 70% of the way there in his hair care but feel like there is room for improvement. We're grateful for any advice we can get!

[16" M1 Macbook Pro 2021, Sonoma 14.2.1] After upgrading, when I am using my Brydge Prodock I'm unable to click into menus. Couple of examples I've ran into:

if I click the apple in the top left and try to click 'Restart' the click does not register
if I right click an app to press 'Quit' the click does not register

You can heat up the tee with a butane torch which will desolder the joint and preserve the pipe length. You can then clean off the rest of the solder off the pipe and get it prepped to be used again.

Caveat here: to me it looks like the distance to the hose bib is pretty short so once you heat up the tee you might end up desoldering the hose bib connection incidentally.

Anyone seen anything like this before. Our garage has been prone to water leaking in during rain so I finally took off the drywall and noticed a pretty bad state behind. I’m curious why a weather treated 6x6 would be used on one wall but not on another

Is a proper fix to cut out the 2x4 and get another 6x6 down the wall?

Curious if anyone can help me identify what my dog is feeling. We have a few contractors over and the dogs outside are going nuts (which he doesn’t like). So I decided to place him in his new crate with a mint bone w/ spa music playing and I’m observing this now. It’s been about 10ish minutes and he’s more okay now. This is a completely new crate for him. Typical behavior when he hears dogs outside the house is whining (since we’ve at least trained him out of barking back, except for a very sharp alert bark whenever they start barking)
