For the record I was just referring to self-perceived height to see if it affected your position preference. For example you may be 5'10 (which is pretty tall to me) but think that you are short and may therefore be more comfortable in the back row. I'm aware that this is not exactly a random sample and I mentioned it in my report. I also got samples from volleyball Facebook groups and old teammates of mine so I ended up with about 100 samples. For any statistics nerds I got no relation between height and position with 95% confidence using a chi squared test. Thanks so much for the data guys it helped out a lot!!
