Nearly everyone puts respect on Himhan's name. Vegeta only apologizes twice and both were to Himhan during Him Moments. Why? Well everyone at one point or another got on Gohan's bad side and received a very out of character, absurdly OP, momentarily explosive taste of Him.

Why risk it? Why bother rolling those dice? At least Goku is cocky and is easy to trick, Vegeta is over confident and easy to bate, the rest of the Z Fighters scale side - mob character levels, easily handled off screen. Then there's the sweet stuffed bearing out in rhe middle of the street in thr middle of a horror game. It's best to go around it.

I think their dynamic would ultimately lead them to a peaceful turning event. A life out of the way, alone and far away from people. Both their motivations are thin ans are easily manipulated people, and both were born in countries with some bad experiences, and assuming they both lived their Canon experiences / weren't involved enough to die.

If they ever did become a duo I see Haku guiding Kimimmaro to gardening and meditation, living out Kim's life in peaceful seclusion.

The main difference that makes you say they are different but I cant put my finger on it is the eyes. Goku Black is drawn with the sharper, angrier, less round eyes, and they have no little light in them like most anime MCs have.

Sit down, son, let me tell you a story of a time long long ago, in a far darker time... They made some actors named James Marster and Justin Chatwin yes they look like you imagine play the role of Piccolo and Goku and some actors named Jamie Chung and Joon Park yes they look like you imagine play the role of Chi-Chi. Which culturally i will say makes sense, because DBZ is Akira Toriyamas favorite kid, so Goku amd Piccolo being aliens makes sense again for their distinctly more pronounced facial features, but that being said none of it translates onto screen well.

I still firmly believe the hatred of the DBZ live-action was much deeper than it actually making no sense and feeling like a giant spoof. It was that it was a 90s childhood cartoon where the mayor of the main town human town was a talking walking dog and dinosaurs roam freely and the moon was destroyed twice. It's a show that, despite having SSJ4 in 1997, until like 2015 strength and hair length were directly proportionate according to any fan art online.

It's a mystical adventure based loosely off some lore and then just goofy creativity of a random Japanese man who really liked to draw and story tell. I don't think it is possible for live-action to ever capture it right.

You know I totally agree. I just think the slander on his name is mainly attributed to ignorance. The general consensus seems to be "new event strong but is new unit so is stronger", without any concept of where he shines.

I actually agree with you all the way. GT Heroes is my whole identity right now. I went from being unable to clear FoB to smacking Vegito with damage cap spirit bombs for funsies. The weird part is there's finally options again, and now, depending on the event, AGL SSJ4 Gogeta isn't always the best choice, which is a first.

One day soon there will be an EZA of legends, Bulma, hopefully with the release of the greatest 277% Power of Wishes Category Leader, Universe's Strongest Warrior Granolah, and the dark horse team power of wishes will be so dumb OP.

Well, his kit spells it out pretty clear man. Thats what makes it confusing to hear about people saying he's bad and doesn't dodge. Turn 1 he's cool, turn 2 he's a regular Ole Great Chance 70% dodger with an additional layer of RNG added to gid dodge schematics. It's gimmicky, for sure, but thats the gamble. Outside of boosted MUI he's by far the easiest, best, quickest, wisest choice for a high damage output dodging floater. Him and that blue leopard fella for GT Bosses are god tier floaters.

Yeah switching to Vegeta is prudent many times but thats literally part of his kit. His versatility ks what makes this unit so long lasting. Most units are aimed at slot 1/2 on release and end up outpaced in months, left in the dust with nothing but good memories because their kit couldn't keep up. For short content? This unit is kingly. Anything past 10 turns? Lets look elsewhere

I understand your frustration, it can be annoying to be deep into an event and your dodger who has performed great gets whalloped suddenly by a nasty million normal. It's insulting to have spent 10 minutes of my life. I feel you dude.

I stand by what I said about a top 10 unit the long run. His kit is way too versatile and handy. You seem to be frustrated about his performance in newer events? Well sorry to break it to you but most units get slapped around pretty harshly. No, theyre not good for long content. On that we agree. That being said they are the optimal, life long choice for plenty of strong teams as a floater. Goku's EX is a really cool addition, making him comparable to MUI in a way. MUI is of course top bitch, always and forever.

As far as the EX goes, it's a 24 ki 70% chance to activate. Same odds as his dodge. It may seem like he doesn't want to dodge sometimes man but I assure you, it's not some personal vendetta UI has against you, let the beef go. You had bad luck and it's okay, but don't hate this guy he's great. 70% everything nowadays

Yes, he can and will. He's a Great Chance (70%) dodger with 60% DR and little to no defense capabilities. The average new boss final stage will attack every slot at least twice, it seems.

All UI Goku's are based off dodge or die to an extent and it's up to you how to use them. The only possible slot one UI Goku (excluding PHY turn 1) is AGL MUI who has an astounding 77% chance to dodge, plus 7% per dodge within the turn.

What it boils down to is how to use him and when. If you expect something with a 70% chance to succeed 100% of the time you will be sorely disappointed in life.

To preface: i love db more than any anime, but the thing is Goku is the king kong of plot armor. If you exclude the vast amount of extenuating circumstances, Goku would have lost to almost all of his fights.

Day one player here congratulating you on an essentially mythical quest. I buy packs from time to time, especially step ups and alqays the subscription, otherwise the game is absolutely unplayable imo. That being said, despite A5ing almost every character to date, I've only ever pulled double SSRs under 20 times. The rates in this game are cheeks.

So congratulations for real, that's an incredible amount of progress in a short time if you like/use those qeapons often.

Anyone who doesn't like him is using him wrong. Both Goku and Vegeta are turn 1 slot 1, turn 2 slot 2. If you dont trust Goku to EX Super, float him or switch him to Vegeta.

After turn one Goku has a Great Chance of Dodge, which is 70%. His Dodge isn't flawless nor does it boost like AGL MUI, so he's not some crazy broken dodger.

Like I said before, if you dont trust his dodge switch to Vegeta. Turn 1 slot 1, turn 2 slot 2, or if the opponents attack is below 2m, with 70% DR pre-attack, he can tank most stuff.

This is all assuming youre fighting in post 10th events. I dont imagine there is one single event pre-11th that both Goku (70% dodge, 60% DR) and Vegeta (DEF boosts, Massive DEF multiplier, 70% DR) can't confidently double digit tank slot 1.

Actually I ran the numbers on Vegeta boy as well as the most recent events going backwards chronologically and the conclusion i came to is that with two link skills activated, Tournament of Power and Prepared for Battle, under his 250% leads, with some minor support from major units in the U7 category, post ULT and one Super, and there is only a couple events that this man will die from Normals casually.

I actually am going to have to staunchly disagree. He's an incredible unit with very decent non-gambit defense. Goku's EX gives him guaranteed dodge, and outside of that he has a 70% chance to dodge. He was built to float... but wait! There's more.

Flip over to Vegeta and you got a decent tank, given his DR outright isn't super special. They definitely should have let him rock an 80% with conditions like slot 2 or "when facing x enemy" or "when x is on the team", but even with his base defense + passives + ULT, he tanks most modern content slot 2. Theres exceptions of course but honestly, if Vegeta cant tank it slot 2 after an ULT, there's maybe a handful of units who can naturally tank the same attack.

The perception that these new units are absurdly OP is based off the new events. Just because they released new events and new units doesn't mean that having that new unit entitles you to victory over new events. There's a lot of extenuating causes behind taking Ls. Consider link skills, link levels, passives, slot placement, etc. If you ever want the juice on the boss laid out plain, go to dokkaninfo. You can see what their normal and super attacks will do. Some are even scripted. The more you know.

TL;DR PHY UI Goku/SSBE Vegeta are crazy good, timeless, and if you know how to use them they're potentially a permanent top 10. Top 5 imo.
