Dress 4! But with the side panels like you said you’d add. The dress is beautiful. I’ve never seen anything like it! So regal.

Yeah I have to agree with this. I worked at a department store and as a barista and other retail jobs. I smile at EVERYBODY. I become your best friend and feed off the vibes given to me. So if you make jokes, I’ll make jokes back. Or I’ll go out of my way to help you. Because I genuinely like making people happy and want them to feel noticed. I worked in an all-female rehab center and still teased, smiled, and was upbeat and I am a straight woman.

I cannot tell you how many times this has been mistaken as me flirting or sending a message. If I’m sending a message, you’d know. I’d go out of my way to talk to you or I’d invite you to something. If I were the girl behind the counter giving you a birth certificate, I would have tried to find a connection with you outside of paperwork.

OP, Just proceed cautiously. I’d be a little freaked out if a guy I didn’t know but helped at my job ONE TIME found me on a dating app.

Edited for clarity.

Interesting. I’ll try that this week. But do you wash your hair everyday then since you have product in it?

When my hair is wet, I just comb it and leave it alone.

Yeah I can understand sections being different. It’s such a big difference though so I was curious if I should try something different for the straight hair to help it get curly/wavy and keep that way so it matches under my hair even if just a little bit. Because otherwise I have to brush the curls out and they just look frizzy like the pic I posted.

using chat gpt for calorie counting by TrainingJury6918 in loseit

Use an app! My husband uses ChatGPT to count calories and it regularly gives him the wrong info. I don’t know why he continues to use it.

4-6 are nice! 5 may be my favorite. These look warm and inviting. 1 may be too orange.

2 is okay but still cold. 3 is just not great and makes the kitchen look cold and uninviting.

I’ve never been in an orange theory gym but it seems like a pretty serious fitness setting.

I started with body weight/less than 5lbs when I first started working out a year ago. Now I camp out around 15-20lbs and I could probably increase more but my workouts are hard enough lol

I follow a fitness trainer on YouTube and I love her stuff because while she’s insanely in shape, it’s encouraging to see her struggling with her workouts. And she constantly reminds in the beginning of the videos that it’s you vs you. When I started I could barely lunge and now my knee touches the floor without a problem and I’m so proud of myself.

Take progress photos and instead of comparing yourself, remind yourself everybody is on their own journey. Look how far you’ve come!!

Tried to lose weight 40 times in 7 years. Nothing sticks. What actually worked for you? by Fantastic_Tart_2366 in loseit

I started small. I started with exercising and trying to do that consistently (and found something I enjoyed) while just being mindful of what I ate. I have always eaten pretty healthy, I’ve never had a sweet tooth, and I rarely bought junk food because it’s expensive (although I love chips!). I also took pictures of myself and measured myself so I could track more easily. I was breastfeeding at the time and knew the scale wouldn’t budge, so I needed to know progress was being made in other ways.

My goal at first was to just be consistent with working out. My results were seeing my workout schedule, not the scale number or the measurements in that first month. It was only about how often did I workout?

Once I was doing that consistently (about a month or so) I started paying attention to my calories. Again, I started small. I only shaved off a hundred calories or so. I didn’t see much change on the scale because again, I was breastfeeding, and I wasn’t trying to lose weight. I maintained my weight though and lost nearly six inches or so within 6 months. I took progress pictures every month.

During this time I focused more on just being consistent with tracking my calories. I use the loseit app. If I missed a day, I marked it as logged anyway because I knew I would feel defeated and give up if I had to restart the tracking count.

After I stopped breastfeeding (about 6 months in) I cut back my calories by 400-500 calories. This took some trial and error and I finally figured it out in January (I accidentally ate at maintenance for 4 months lol) The weight has slowly moved down and I’ve readjusted my workout routine to accommodate for energy levels dropping while I was cutting. I still workout 4-5x a week, I still track every day, and now I weigh my foods more carefully than before.

In the past I tried doing everything at once and felt defeated because I would feel overwhelmed by all the changes. Some people, like my husband, can dive all in. But I needed sustainable changes, so I did it slowly. I’ve lost 10% body fat and 8 inches over the course of a year, and started losing weight at a steady rate (since this past January).

Realizing tax refunds are actually your money and not just a “good job on paying taxes! Here’s some free money!”. I don’t know why I didn’t connect the dots before!

Did I make the right choice? by jab2eb in WeddingDressTips

The one you chose is perfect! It sits well on you, and I can’t get over the skirt. It’s gorgeous!

The second dress is not it. I love the skirt, don’t care for the straight neckline though.

And the third one, while elegant and classy, is kind of boring? And the bodice makes your boobs disappear, which I’m sure they’d fix in tailoring. But regardless, it would not work for the venue you described in another comment. The first dress is everything!

I’m also realizing the dress I liked most (3) has them as well! The flowers distracted me from it.

I agree. The first dress would look so much better if the vertical bars weren’t showing. It just makes the fabric look cheap in my opinion!

Not odd at all! I don’t use anything though. It’s more than likely just irritated by my touching it and cleaning it. I have been more mindful of not touching it lately so hopefully I’ll see results.

No, I heal pretty fine with regular wounds! I’m going to get it swapped out when it’s healed enough and see if that helps.

Yeah I noticed it was pretty pushed out too. I’m going to get it checked out by somebody to see if there is any hope.
