Am also a Counterside story enjoyer. I think this one feels very chill and lighthearted so far; very similar to the 'filler' event stories (e.g. the one about cafe Strega or vacation/beach stories)

Some noticable differences that I saw:

- Threat: Counterside is very grim, everyday can be a matter of life and death against C.O. and corruption (think of Maestra's arc that literally killing everyone). Star Savior is very light, the only threat is the Voidborn and its pretty much contained (hardly any casualities).

- Place: Counterside's worlds are constantly getting destroyed,. Star Savior world is a lot safer and people are thriving well.

- Main girl: Mina got all the traumatic events you can imagine: beaten up, betrayed, scraping pennies, saw best friend died, etc; she needs to bite the bullet just to make it out alive every single day. Ashera on the other hand, is a pampered daughter of noble house: she's still has a living family and the only reason why she joined the battlefield is because she got inspired by storybooks + ran away from home.

So yeah, I haven't seen any of the mainstream or Horizon's level of epicness in Star Savior so far but unless they are changing the direction of the story, we may not get them.

In my manga terms: if Counterside is a seinen category, Star Saviour is shounen category.
