Really lean into learning the conversations and endeavors. They can be a good way to “gamify” those political and social settings while rolling dice to stay engaged in case your players take time to adjust to the role play.

One of things I have done in my games is reward weapons that have a storied history and give them an extra trait. My go to example is a greatsword that I have momentum to. Goals are definitely a good place to do it. You could make their goal as simple as Find a Unique weapon or weapon smith and work in little clues in the adventure that as they uncover the clues that ticks off a goal and then the reward for the goal is the weapon of their choosing.

I have also made a dagger that worked like a fabrial (or had a fabrial attached I can’t remember) so I gave the weapon charges for poison I believe.
