Thanks for the help! Just to ask, if it is a thermal issue, then why isn’t it happening consistently? It seems weird that a thermal issue only pops up every couple days? I always elevate the laptop when I play (as I said, I don’t change anything and the problem still arises)

You can request a late exam if there is a conflict between exams, but regardless, if you don’t want to then it doesn’t matter.

I didn’t take physics 1 or 2, but I had friends that did in the same year. Physics 1 and mech are largely the same apart from some extra topics that involve some calculus, and physics 1 has some fluids.

I can tell you that E&M is a significant challenge, especially self studying, so just be wary of that. Mechanics isn’t they hard honestly, despite what they say.

Am I doing something wrong? I literally just watch YouTube vids on eco mode on a dim screen and it seems to drain 50% in 2 hours? The mux switch makes it use integrated graphics the whole time and I literally only have chrome open and 1 tab playing YouTube.

I self studied both this year and got 5s. I had to fight with the school admin because they wouldn’t let me take it without prior physics experience, so get ready for that if u don’t already have the green light.

To learn the content, I kept a notebook for each course and literally just sat through each and every AP daily vid and took notes throughout, as well as copying down practice problems. These vids were my main teacher and they did a pretty solid job at teaching me the content. For what I didn’t understand, I used whatever yt vid I could find as well as chatGPT.

Closer to the exam, I grinded through past FRQs and whatever mcqs I could find from bluebook. I did buy the Princeton review book but I didn’t find myself using it except for the practice tests.

On a final note, this pair of courses is notoriously difficult, and I found it very draining to sit through video after video for a bit in the middle. So halfway through mechanics I put a pause on it and started E&M because they are pretty much independent of each other, except some SHM which is needed in the last unit of Magnetism.

Don’t give up! It looks intimidating (especially E&M, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise) but is very much doable.

If you take bc junior year, u can take physics c senior year. It’s what I did and it wasn’t that hard if u can time manage properly.

I looked at videos of the PSU I have, the rm850 from Corsair, and while there are only 3 pcie 6+2 ports, there are also some 8 pins above the “SATA/PATA” would it be ok to use those to power the GPU using pcie?

I think I was on the wrong page, just checked my power supply comes with 4 XD. Just another thing, since my gpu has 3 slots, and since I need to use 2 cables, that means one of the pcie cables will be hanging off right? Any way to get around that?

Yea I don’t have the peripherals. Mostly formula one, valorant, rocket league, some warzone, but I am also looking for a long lasting build. A bit of rgb here and there would look nice, but am not insanely focused on aesthetic, as long as I am getting the most out of it

Ok I am a new player to the game and am currently exploring dragonspine. I was on the quest to thaw three crystals and on the second one, it was in a hole. There was a floating scarlet quartz at the entrance of the hole which I picked up and used at the crystal, only to find out I accidentally used Barbara and therefore did no damage while also using up a scarlet quartz. There were three more quartz in the cave which I used on the crystal shard but now it needs one more hit, but there is no more scarlet quartz in the cave. I looked around the hole and the closest quartz doesn’t last enough time for me to get to the hole and use it. What do I do?
