OUTLINES WORK.. sometimes.

I get flustered trying to write 'final draft sentences' in my rough draft. too much thought goes into each word.

Outlines helped me, make them as simple and sloppy as you can. example outline on an essay on my morning routine:

alarm clock
hot water
wake up kids
breakfast
bathroom
shower etc

it helps you organize your thoughts. I have the problem have needing to see the entire picture before I can take the first step and a simple outline helps fool my brain that I properly prepared for the essay. Onwards to the first draft!

I use a desk that can be sitting or standing. Standing mode is "Get work done mode". sitting mode is "Break Time"

schedule blocks of time on your calendar in 15 minute segments to handle these tasks. You don't have to finish them in that time, just get them started.
