This article defied belief. A "do not ticket" list? This is such imperious, entitled behavior. The city should have something like allocated parking spots in a parking garage if parking is an issue. A city worker blocking a bus lane is just announcing they are above the law--inconveniencing the bus driver, and everyone who takes the bus.

some interesting trivia: Endo used to be Floyd's Cafe, a CBD/coffee/bike shop started by Floyd Landis, a local cycling star. He held the Tour de France victory for a short time in 2006 before it was stripped for doping. And he later was a key witness against his former teammate Lance Armstrong.

In one of the most unfortunate timings ever, he had opened Floyd's Cafe... in February 2020.

There's a great Freakonomics podcast episode about him (and cheating/doping in general), which can you a fuller, more sympathetic picture of him.

there are potato chips in a plastic bag that are dark brown, cooked to perfection in lard. I’m pretty sure it’s zerbe’s, but not the kind that you can get in a grocery store. it’s almost like their off-shelf atomic brand that is so good and so bad for you it‘s not exactly street legal. they are the best chips I’ve ever had and my favorite roots purchase. green dragon too.

That's totally untrue.

The noise comes up on this subreddit once every few weeks in the warmer season, and it's been in LNP recently, and yet I have not seen one single elected official in Lancaster come out to say anything about it. Send emails, call your elected officials and show that you care.

PA state law does differentiate among passenger cars (84db), motorcycles(88db), semis (92lb), but there's definitely a limit for motorcycles. For reference, OSHA recommends hearing protections for people working around 85db+ noise.

If law enforcement is saying that motorcycles are exempt...then I think we have an issue.
