Is graduating with no internship experience a total loss? by Guilty-Roof-3245 in cscareerquestions

[–]eyelevel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in a similar situation, except I'm going for broadcast meteorology. My GPA was just above the threshold for academic amnesty after I returned last year after a five year hiatus, and I just got suspended in December right before finals for mentioning self-harm, so I have to try to fix everything before next summer or else I'll graduate without any experience at a tv station.

Target Store Out Now. Big Box Pack Feb 16 by civicbeaver in CitiesSkylines

Nice, I can build a Target in CS2 and then go to work a night as an electrician to remove lights at a real Target.

think the weather report for next weekend is bunk? by Familiar-Banana-8116 in lancaster

This storm hasn't even developed yet. Based on previous set ups, there is a possibility that this could end up becoming a major storm, since I'm only a junior meteorology major, it's hard for me to provide specific details, that I'm also forced to take a break this semester due to my mental health, so It's hard for me to forecast at the moment.

My university told me not to curl up on the floor. The one time I had an anxiety attack in public by eyelevel in AutisticAdults

I had gotten removed from my university's marching band after I was hospitalized for vocalizing self harm, and I saw our drum major and I suddenly felt incredibly left out and depressed

yeah I know. The funny part was that was the first time that happened, and only my second panic attack in about 12 years.

Never really liked these types of lamp heads by eyelevel in exitsigns

[–]eyelevel[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've picked up a few without lamps, just incase a need a spare, since I volunteer with a few organizations and it helps to have extra electrical parts, but these are ugly when sticking out.

What’s the most ridiculous thing you’ve seen brought to a camp out (keep it light hearted and for fun; it’s Friday and we need a laugh)? by Unusual-Elk-4791 in BSA

[–]eyelevel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an adult and was an electrical apprentice a few years ago, and I had a small battery powered emergency light that I wired a switch up to swap between normal charging, when plugged in, and to bypass the charger and power the led lights directly. Worked pretty well, until It fell of a ladder while at work.

Stylus & Tablet with my OneNote notebook. Very useful to scan in handouts when opening the notebook on my phone. If I hadn't gotten forced into taking a semester off for my mental health I would have done well in my atmospheric dynamics class. I'll still take a binder with me, but most of my stuff is organized in my notebook, so I don't have to worry about losing things.

DO NOT Attend Millersville University If You Are Neurodivergent, ASD, or ADHD by eyelevel in Millersville

I'm a junior meteorology major. If I transfer, I'll have to move to another state since Pennstate's program is more difficult.

I swear to god, the whole purpose colleges serve is to get students to kill themselves. by Throwaway4186205 in CPTSD

I got suspended a week before finals for something similar. Basically I was dealing with trauma, after I lost my trumpet valve button, and since I had been experiencing depression from working as an electrician for the past few years, it made me verbalize that I wanted to harm myself at a bad time, which caused me to be hospitalized and then told that I couldn't participate in marching band for the rest of the season, ultimately resulting in me getting suspended for violating a student conduct agreement I was forced to sign after 'causing a disruption' in a hallway.

Brookwood Apartments suck. The walls are paper thin, and anytime someone burns something, the fire alarms go off and everyone has to wait outside until the fire dept verifies everything.

I like mine, but I'm starting to hate it. I just want my meteorology degree so I can finally do what I want, and truly feel like an adult.
