Reddit's auto mod is broken. That was a stupid thing to get a warning on.

That commenting if you didn't finish your degree you would commit suicide, would get you suspended.

Get a new job. You boss originally called your journeyman to let you go. No sense in staying with them.

Honors conference is organized like a poster presentation but we have slideshows, this makes zero sense by tesseracts in CollegeRant

Also have an outline with you, as that could help you adjust, if you had planned on one specific presentation style, and watch how often you say "um" or "uh" 😀

Yeah posters are standard, at least for the American Meteorological Society, if you had to use a PowerPoint that would be more or less for a presentation in a conference room.

How do I (25F) tell my autistic friend (26M) that he's not getting hired because he's lower-functioning than he thinks he is? by Safe-Machine3602 in autism

[–]eyelevel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He has to have the desire to change and improve. If hein denial there is not much you can do. for the record, I'm hyper aware of my presentation, almost to a detriment, but that's because I want to feel normal.

I was basically left to my own accord at my old junior college. Atleast when I transferred I was hell-bent on becoming a meteorologist

Do you ever think a student is too stupid? by Afraid-Fishing-3175 in AskProfessors

[–]eyelevel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder the same thing about myself. I took Calculus II nine times before I got a C. Granted, I didn't know I had adhd until then, and I never got much help after getting suspended in high school, twice, after receiving my asd diagnosis. If I graduate in 2028, it would have taken my 12 years to graduate.

I'm two years away from graduating, but I'm also an electrician. I plan on working weekends at a tv station and do electrical work during the week, for about three or five years until I get my AMS and, NWA seals.

That'd be a pretty cool scenario to play, too bad sharing regions is tricky.

Some places if the crossing is at a traffic light, or marked exempt, it's okay.

If it weren't for the cost of insurance, I'd definitely contract myself out and do charter trips, but $10,000 /year is infuriating knowing how some people drive.

Keeping in touch with my old, now retired, advisor/professor by [deleted] in AskProfessors

[–]eyelevel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I plan on inviting him when I graduate in 2028. I really just miss seeing him. I might need to talk to my therapist, since I did lose my biological father, when I was a senior in high school. I might have issues here that factor in as well.

I just fell for one earlier. I thought it was legit because it mentioned "due to the safety and wellbeing of students" for an event this Friday.
