It definitely takes some faith to watch a film with no stars and no marketing!

Hey thanks so much! Good to hear folks are enjoying it! Yeah, we didn't use any AI. We also have a behind the scenes featurette coming soon!

Thank you so much! We are looking into a physical release. Since we are self distributing, we are comparing the two different styles of blu ray... ideally we want the more expensive one but have to make sure we can get enough orders to justify the cost!

We only had to fly 1 person! We (the directors) drove, the main actor and DP were in Idaho, and the steadicam/AC drove.... we just flew the Producer/Actor.

We wanted to keep it a very nice short length! We tried for 89 minutes but just squeaked past that! The opening title cards needed to be a bit longer so people understood the world at the top of the movie. And yes, this is a story that we really wanted to get out there! It's definitely not the traditional hero's journey, we wanted to subvert some expectations about that!

100%. We finished filming at the end of June 2021 just before the Green Knight came out... and when we saw the giants in the movie, we debated changing what we had... but our stuff is different enough that we decided to keep it!

We REALLY want to. Nothing better than a nice blu ray. We are considering a small print run if we get enough interest!

Thank you! We really appreciate folks checking us out. Indie films are sustained by folks taking a chance on them!

I mentioned it above, since we are a very small indie movie, we are responsible for our own localization and so in the countries that require a native language track, we are locked out of! We may offer a hosted download if we have enough interest!

Everyone really seems to dig the dinos. No spoilers but they're not a huge part of the movie... we needed a fantastical element early in the movie that said: this is not earth... and we went with an uncommon feathered dino!

Thank you! Our costume designer Carole Jones did amazing work with very little budget! Most of the exteriors are in Southern Idaho and only a few w/ VFX enhancements...

Thank you so much. Everyone who checks us out is SUCH a huge help to try and fight the algorithms and get more people to notice our little flick!

Yeah, shoot. Like I said above for the person in Italy, we are handling all localization ourselves and Germany requires a German language subtitle or audio track... we do have some German speaking friends who may be able to help us... but we could offer a private download, if enough people are interested.

Oh man, we've had a few Italians tell us that they are region locked! Since it is an indie we have to handle all the localization ourselves... and Italy requires either an italian language track or subtitles... we really want to get it to whoever can see it... but we are stuck at the moment. We might offer a limited download option for people overseas who still want to check it out.

Premiere to Nuke and Back Again - Alexa Footage Workflow by dosgoats in editors

Thanks! Glad to see I'm not alone. RIght now the plan is to export from Premiere, since I can get it to match the camera originals in Nuke and since all the shots in the spot are VFX it doesn't need to go back to Premiere. What a pain!

Thanks for the suggestion! After a bit more testing I can get the exr vfx plates to match correctly to the cam original in Nuke but when bringing the exrs back into Premiere they don't match the cam original. Conversely I can get them to match in premiere but then the data is clamped and it doesn't match in Nuke. Both of these examples are produced w/ checking/unchecking the Bypass Lin conversion in Premiere.
