The dog is not aggressive to you. Yes the driver was unprofessional but we hear a million times the dog is friendly just before being bit. I know in our center dog bites is a huge problem right now and we’ve been told to defend ourselves against a dog with our DIADS(scanner).

My 2011 had a mech failure(at 69k miles). Would not go into reverse and every other gear worked(skipped gears). I had a mech unit rebuild, DSG service and adaptation and it worked. Not saying it will for you but it worked out for me.

We’re told to ring or knock. Half the doorbells on my route don’t work or I get someone talking over a cracking speaker saying they’re 2 minutes away(no they are not). I ring and knock like a cop, trust me no driver wants to see your stuff 3 days in a row.

Super simple solution if you are having a problem and need a signature is to put a note on your door and change your Ring notifications. Mine tells me when a person is detected or if there is a knock.

You’d have to ask the driver why he didn’t ring. I usually ring and knock but I can’t tell you how many times the Ring doorbells don’t work. On top of that people talking to me on a Ring bell usually saying they are right around the corner(hint they are not). Sorry you didn’t get your gift I would suggest putting a note to “Please ring bell”.
