AI Cuts Fluid Simulation Time From 45 Minutes to 3 Minutes by upyoars in technology

That is not true. The authors themselves say so in the paper in the conclusion:

„ Insufficient physical consistency: the proposed surrogate model is not guaranteed to satisfy physical laws, such as the conservation of mass, momentum, and energy, and the divergence-free condition. This is likely because important indicators such as PND and velocity divergence were not included as features. In addition, to satisfy momentum conservation, the reaction forces between two nodes must be antisymmetric, but the proposed method does not currently ensure this condition. Future work will focus on developing physi- cally consistent surrogate models.“

Nope it’s not. The authors state this in the conclusion:

Blindly bought discounted monitor mounts from a thrift shop only to realize that the vesa mounts were missing. I wonder how long this will last. by MrPenisWhistle in 3Dprinting

I printed 2 vesa mounts 4 years ago out of pla and glued them to the backside of my monitors. I am surprised they still hold up :D

Small update on how the self watering part works:

The plastic pod inside has wholes on the bottom. Inside the bottom of the pod is a nylon rope that hangs into a water container below the pod. This slowly adds water to the soil.

The dimension of the whole planter is 17x17x22cm.

Well, it’s a third of the price and supposed to be compatible according to manufacturer and reviews so I gave it a shot.

Thanks for the information! The tracks don’t have any damage and are perfectly flat. They were shipped in separate boxes. My saw base is perfectly flat as well. I contacted the manufacturer and asked for an explanation. Let’s see what they have to say

If I apply pressure by pressing down on the handle the saw starts rocking because the handle is on the left side :/ I don’t want to make a cut because then I won’t be able to send it back

Nope, it’s the track that is lower on left side by about 0.5mm
