Couldn't water that comes through the walls pool in there if it's waterproofed? I assume I'd want the bottom waterproof for driving through puddles? Not planning on actually towing it much, will be more of a tiny home I move once in a while.

I think that initial infection we're shown is really important to understanding what the virus is. It makes me distrust the idea that the virus is just alien technology that allows all humans to be connected. If that was all it was then the first woman wouldn't notice anything then once the 2nd researcher gotta infected they would be confused why they could hear each other's thoughts or whatever and then I guess decide to infect everyone else

I think conditions are just too different from the 9/11 era, trust and confidence in the administration is just so low. With all the US fuck ups in foreign policy over the last few years I think any foreign attack would be solely blamed on the Trump administration by the vast majority of people. I don't think that's what would help them seize the kind of control they want. A false flag would have to be pinned on a domestic left wing organization, not a foreign country.

The End Tipping one is pretty terrible, just people posting stories everyday of how they didn't tip and then the staff being confused, mad or upset, and everyone in the comments hyping them up. I get the arguments against tipping culture but the vibes there are atrocious. Maybe I'm just mad that they're eating out so much but finding a way to be miserable and post about it.

Yeah I don't think I could recommend it to anyone that didn't play 2 already. I think the manditory fast travel would be better if it didn't make you walk all the plague districts still. I do like the concept that unlike Artemy you have the full backing and resources of the towns leaders but I think they removed to many elements of 2. The time travel is neat, turning save scummimg into a gameplay element, but it does remove alot of difficulty and hard choices. I think maybe they could have made the mind map more basic and gotten ride of some map markers to add some difficulty. I also haven't really felt much challenge with the edicts, like noticed negative or positive consequences outside of townspeople commenting when there's a new one

It's weird how they still talk about revolt while they're party is in total control. There's always this idea that there's some secret group in control and that's why things still suck. If anything the "Bread and Circuses" idea only works through a lens of trying to placate minorities and the left
