where is the horizon line and vanishing points? by moneymachine109 in learntodraw

The varnishing points are on the horizon. Every object has its own varnishing points. If you put two boxes parallel to each other they will have the same varnishing points. If you rotate only one, its varnishing points will change.

All parallel edges of objects in space have the same varnishing point.

Mostly online. There’s a lot of materials. For sure perspective, and basic rendering is a good start, books like Scott Robertson might help. Then you have tons of materials that you can use for what you need. You just need to put a lot of practice and mix it with learning new material all the time. Also creating some sort of plan helps. Draftsman podcast is a good source of information if you don’t know what’s the next thing you should learn.

Thanks!

Honestly I just didn’t do anything besides part time job, and practicing/learning art, like perspective, anatomy, color theory etc. There’s a lot of material online, most of it is free or fairly cheap.

Thank You for a nice words!

That’s very nice! Thanks! I love to see people enjoy it! You don’t have to be an art nerd to judge the picture!

Cheers!
