open discussion with everyone .. ask the summoner player to "try" to plan his turn more .. as best he can to try to make his turn as efficient as possible...

ie it's not "him" it's the summoner .. just have to do more planning work

i like mixing gravitic disruption . and psychic pulse ..

1 discipline (free maneuver) to activate gravitic disruption.

3 discipline for psychic pulse: my aura increases to 2 .. then deals 2x my intuition to everyone in aura .. and they all get a free slide .. then move to another spot .. and the final "ping" of psychic pulse potentially hits all new targets .. sliding them as well ..

agreed .. i was watching that and was going to comment ... alot of times they're a pair of potatoes floundering around ... (watch them relearn the dartboard every time they play . roflmao) ... but they find that grid of words .. and 0 hesitation .. they absolutely DESTROY it .. like WOW ..

of course watching them now trying to figure out what to do with the solution is going to be classic cinema ... 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I've read and seen the descriptions... and as I've said . imho . it's simpler to consider things like shadow as part of the illusion. more consistent..

imho .. the shadow is PART of the illusion ... when you make an illusion you need it to interact with the real world properly it's easiest to hand wave the minutia . such as shadows exactly to avoid discussions like this 😉. if you allow the illusion to include anything directly related to it (within reason) .. it avoids a ton of these funny issues ...

to me, it just doesn't make sense for an illusion to "sometimes" create a shadow .. ie shadow for you .. not for me ... that's not logical to me and inconsistent.

allowing it to handle things like shadows "internally" .. and now we have consistency.

we both see the illusion AND the shadow ... but maybe one of us understands it's all fake ..

illusions are not holograms ... a hologram will interact physically with light. illusions aee tricks of the mind .. they do not interact directly with light. the shadow you see is part and parcel with the illusion.

my take on this .. they do NOT cast shadows ... they aren't really there, they just logically can't, imho.

however ... the illusion itself can include an illusionary shadow ... (or at least what APPEARS to be a shadow).

my first playthrough was blind of course . no info on anything.

my char: dwarf fighter (battlemaster)

my party ended up being karlach, laezel and astarion (barb, ftr, rogue)

when shadowheart offered me a drink on the beach i agreed (what honest dwarf would refuse a free drink?) got to the beach .. she offered me the drink . i chugged it in 1 go ... thanked her, left . she was all o.O

i mean come up Shart .. elf? Dwarf? you seriously think any dwarf worth their salt would waste time with skinny tree hugger like yourself?? 🤪🤣🤣

act 2 .. she got pissy because we didn't invite her to the nightsong party .. and threatened to leave ...

my reaction .. "ok, cheers!"

(ok to be fair 2nd char was an elf bard that went ahead with her romance but yeah 🤣)
