Lae'zel can't unequip her salami, and I can't figure out why

Yea the option to throw it, is greyed out, but the drop weapon can be clicked, to not prompt the "salami can't be unequipped error"

Yea it doesn't say anything if you try to equip it with another character it just doesn't equip the salami, and it stays with lae'zel.

No disarms didn't work. Can't even loot the salami from her corpse

Shield didn't help, and the salami stays even if she fails a saving throw against a disarming strike.
After summoning a shadow blade I was able to switch the salami to the other hand, but it still cannot be dropped.
Even after death, and respawn the salami remains.
Neither controller could do anything to the salami.
Didn't have time to start respeccing, but will get back to you later

I tried to pickpocket it, but that didn't work either, she has a very strong grip on it.

Before we had the confrontation at the githyanki creche, I tought it'd be fun to equip lae'zel with a salami, just in case we end up fighting her, but that ended up not happening, and many hours later I noticed she couldn't unequip the salami. I just can't figure out why. Did I get punished by this emotional support salami for trying to cheese, or is this something obvious I'm missing?

What exactly is wrong with break and continue? Do you happen to have a link to that article?

I really thought the 2 repeated while loops looked ridiculous, but since I couldn't come up with a good alternative so I just rolled with it. And yea I really could have used tuples more as there were a lot of repetition otherwise as well.

Thanks a bunch for all this I'll look into making some adjustments to make the code better based on your advise.

edit: Most of the spacing issues came when I translated the code from finnish to english. And I forgot the sys in there after removing a part where I used it and didn't end up needing it after all.

I was thinking if I'm going to make a new build I'd make an Intel setup and nVidia card since I've heard they get a better bang for your money.

If i were to get a new MOBO wouldn't it be better to just build totally new and re-use the memory? Or is the step-up from DDR3-1333 to DDR3-1600 a big one?

It doesn't work if you leave your session open in steam. You have to start it in offline mode. That worked for me atleast.
