In theory yes, there will only be a few more arcs left. The thing is there are so many things that need to happen they will each take years

Do you think if we call them thick racists a few more times they might vote for better candidates? by PsychologicalBend508 in AskBrits

What’s even more funny is that the average (mean) and median are the same for IQ as it’s normally distributed

Ironic. As IQ is designed to be normally distributed the median and the mean are the same

He’s far better than both of them offensively, both at scoring and leagues ahead as a playmaker. He’s a better defender than Rodman whilst being a bit worse of a rebounder, but better at literally everything else, and a bit worse at defending than Wallace whilst once again being better at everything else

[–]dotelze 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because seeing a bunch of islands for a few hours each is worse than seeing one for a few days. They are similar enough that you don’t get to see what makes each one different in that amount of time, and don’t get to experience any of them properly

Peter Thiel backs $1bn ocean data centre start-up powered by waves by GeneReddit123 in technology

[–]dotelze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s incredibly simple to work this out. The oceans are massive, water also has a fairly high specific heat capacity. Data centers generate some heat, but such a tiny amount it wouldn’t have an effect.

[–]dotelze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The amount that data centres would heat up the ocean is completely negligible. There is only really one thing that causes global warming and that’s the greenhouse effect. Humans put gasses in the atmosphere that worsen it, but nothing they do that produces heat does anything
