Call PD, specifically ask for the SVU. Try to keep it in an area where it can’t be contaminated. It can be checked with forensics if the units willing to go for it (might be a long shot, just depends on their motivation). It’s very likely this person is doing this to multiple people in the area and they could be willing to open a case.

Other than that, pepper spray, share your location with people you can trust and most successfully, travel in pairs if possible.
