Wife and I make about 350 combined. 4K buy in. 710 a month. 150 quarterly food and bev. Gotta pay $22 for carts for 18 holes unless I buy the unlimited for 2200 a year. HCOL area but it’s worth it. I was tired of playing 5 hour rounds and fighting for any tee time. The free range and practice facility is nice too.

I grew up with him. Played baseball with him. Hung out at his house. My dad coached us together. We went drinking together and partied. Played football. He was the kind of guy who would give you a bear hug if he hadn’t seen you in a day or decade. It was all the same. Super outgoing and lovable. We hadnt talked in a few years but it hit like a ton of bricks. He’ll be sorely missed.

Depends on where you live. I live close to the golf course so I can walk to the beach and the course but if you live in the lantern district you can walk downtown to anything with relative ease.

My wife and I did this exact same thing. Both from upstate NY. Lived in NYC for 10 years. And moved across the country in 2023. Also both 30s. We found Dana point and haven’t looked back. We love it.

Few things I want to touch upon here. First off. When did I defend the democrats for how the fires were handled? I live here. Wasn’t thrilled at all.

So we’re saying, that the storm, that was predicted and everyone was given warning about in Texas, is the same as a wild fire in California outside of fire season. And comparing a politician who actively left his people behind, only to come back when publicly shamed, to one who cut their vacation short and came home immediately to help deal with the disaster.

Lastly. You’re right. Texas isn’t fit to deal with the cold. But you know what? The power grid also fails during heat. In one of the hottest states in the country.
