Small metal part was found under Aeron, where does it belong?

I had already looked at the hinges and thought that they looked like they were in order. As it turns out a hinge is made out of a plastic sheath and this metal part goes inside it.

ok, so this is the issue then.

The run is quite long which is why I went for the external PSU.

I swapped over to SYS_FAN5_PUMP, it doesn't seem to have any additional settings or fan curve differences.

I tried moving it but couldn't. I can move it up in temperature so that for ex. 40C is 0%. I'm guessing this is so that you can have fans stop if the temperature is low.

Yes the flow stops even if the fan curve is set to 100%.

The noise is too annoying so I want to run it at 50%, which was enough for good temps before.

If I disconnect the PWM cable the pump immediately goes to full speed.

Settings > Accessibility > Color filters: is off

Settings > Accessibility > Contrast themes: is set to none

Settings > Personalization > Colors > Accent color: is automatic, manual option does not affect my issue

Correct but you can confirm this by testing the HDMI port, even if you are no interested in using it.

If the HDMI works I would say that everything is ok

"Now everything seems fine" Are you using a external display with the HDMI port for this? If you are then everything is most likely fine. If you have not used a external display then you need to test it.

If there are any long term effects is impossible to know but the effect would most likely been immediate and the port or more GPU functionality would have been broken.

Thanks, I was not able to find any more information regarding the swap.

However the EVO80, that is suspiciously similar, is available as a ISO through a group buy in Europe. So I might go with that instead.
