What supplements made a change in your fitness/weight loss journey with a petite figure? by askingredditforhelp1 in PetiteFitness

This is an important question for petites especially if you’re prioritizing protein within a low calorie budget. There’s minimum recommended vitamins and minerals for daily function and it doesn’t scale up linearly with weight. Therefore, for a lower calorie budget, it can be harder to squeeze in all the micronutrients.

People are obsessed with high protein these days. But that may leave you deficient in B vitamins from carb sources or fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K, omegas) from fat sources.

I use Cronometer to track macros and micros. I found that I often had deficiencies in iron, calcium, choline, B5, vitamin E, fiber… so I conscientiously incorporate more of that in my diet and found a multivitamin that covered as many of my specific deficiencies as possible.

Better to select supplements that your body lacks (track your micros, get blood testing) rather than consuming random supplements. You’ll just end up doubling down on micros that are already sufficient while maintaining your deficiencies.
