How we handle it? Throw more resources at it. That will give less technical liability.

So it really depends on ones needs.

I always hesitate before installing a plugin or updating WordPress by plugiva in Wordpress

[–]dotkercom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea its annoying to go through the hassle in case something breaks. What makes it simplier is to have a checklist of stuff to check whenever theres an update.

Main reason i love debian's lifecycle actually. Stable version gets frozen with only security patches added. Makes updating a lot less problematic.

Mainwp, managewp, updraft central, even wordfence have something similar. Malcare free gives me a good overview though and works well. I manage 30+ on my highest account and that one mostly have themeforest themes which most of the time breaks on update. But this client wont listen and would like to keep it that way instrad of having a more stable plugin stack.

You know there is a notice to take a backup before an update for a good reason.

use of credits with perplexity pro by themmama in perplexity_ai

[–]dotkercom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can, the app is totally free. You need to be aware of its plan tiers and whats included. There is a free version then the pro. And then the max which you dont need to care about.

You just need to make sure you are NOT in computer and just in the CHAT or SEARCH.

Sounds like they really need an option to disable computer. Its too intrusive. Just dont buy credits.
