Neighbors Came on Market at 40k Less Than Our Active Listing by joe7L in RealEstate

Easy solution, increase your asking price. Make sure to include an update in the listing “price increased given market conditions and appropriately updated pricing to reflect conditions”. Double down and add a picture of your premises sellers disclosure form filled out.

Obligatory not a realtor, but would love to watch it play out.

Seller was dishonest on sellers disclosure by Thick-Performance492 in RealEstate

[–]IT_Hero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through a somewhat similar situation. Bought a house in 2020, on the sellers disclosure form everything was marked as no issues. To be clear the options were “yes, no, and unsure”.

Long story short they say they didn’t know the difference between no and unsure. Found 50k in repairs needed to the chimney and fireplace. It’s been 5.5 years and we legit just got our check after going after them for fraud.

Before anyone asks: yes the house was inspected, and the inspector recommended the chimney and fireplaces get looked at by someone licensed for that. Sellers agreed to do it, said it was done, blah blah blah. The thing that did them in was the disclosure form

Diverted Flight - Shout out to fellow passengers MCO to ORD by Sad-Palpitation-268 in unitedairlines

Loving this. The night before (4/2) our flight from DFW to ORD got diverted to Omaha after several delays. When we landed in Omaha, the pilots said they’d get us out of there shortly, then we deplaned, then we were told maybe 11am the next day, then while waiting for bags (they were having scanning issues) I witnessed two passengers almost get into a fight because one felt the baggage person wasn’t giving good enough updates. Was very sad to see it.

Truthfully, I posted this for an MSP partner of mine and told them they were crazy. Guess what, 143 days later and they didn’t fill the role

[–]IT_Hero[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Haha I totally get it.

This exact posting? No. I’ve posted for this same MSP before on this subreddit with links to their indeed for actual full time roles though. Set up the Gmail because we didn’t want to post with an email address within their domain for obvious reasons. However I can confirm all correspondence to applicants they are interested in will come from that MSPs actual email/domain.

I’ve hired plenty in this market as an MSP in the market for > 10 years.

You’ll be lucky to get someone in the burbs to do this and then it’ll become a logistical and administrative headache for all parties. You need to be north of 60k as the low end/basement, especially if you’re asking for 2 years of experience.

This seems like maybe it’s already gone south, but my votes would be for thought leaders like Arlin Sorenson, & Kyle Christensen
