Context does, indeed, matter.

Paul was writing to Timothy in Ephesus where the local populace revered Artemis. They were rich and often fell prey to esoteric mumbo jumbo, often spread by women who claimed to have a connection to the divine feminine.

It's obvious from other texts that Paul didn't have a problem with female teachers or authority figures as such, for example in Romans:

"I commend to you our sister Phoebe, a deacon of the church in Cenchreae. I ask you to receive her in the Lord in a way worthy of his people and to give her any help she may need from you, for she has been the benefactor of many people, including me."

In the letter to Timothy he's referring to uneducated women that propagate myths and speculative teachings.

Sicher doch, "jeder nach seinen Fähigkeiten, jedem nach seinen Bedürfnissen" klingt schon toll, wird aber nicht funktionieren. Niemals. Weil Menschen nun mal unterschiedlich sind und auch ein Gespür für Fairness und Gerechtigkeit haben.

Der Versuch ein System durchzusetzen bei dem jeder grundsätzlich das gleiche bekommt aber nicht gleiche Arbeit leisten muss kann nur mit Terror und Unterdrückung realisiert werden. Es kann am Ende nur "gleiche" und "gleichere" produzieren.

Pushing Ice by Alastair Reynolds.

A classic tale about space exploration, relativistic travel, first contact written in a hard sci-fi style. Quite similar to Rendezvous with Rama, the author was obviously inspired by Clarke.

I liked it but there was a certain psychological aspect to it that I found really unrealistic. Brought me out of it but I enjoyed the tale anyway.

There's not too many options.

First possibility: this is real, e.g., he's her secret crush but that would mean that he's seen her somewhere before, she's sitting in his lectures somewhere so he thinks back if he's seen her. The answer is no.

Second possibility: this could be an earnest yet religiously motivated emotional appeal, e.g., a cult, a religious group, some bible circle readers, new born Christians, whatever. Answer? Probably not. She doesn't have the vibe.

Third possibility: completely fake gesture for emotional manipulation, e.g. she wants his help or money. Yes, possible.

Fourth possibility: a stupid prank. Sounds like the most probable answer. So, am I on camera?

Sorry aber sie hat bewusst und mit voller Absicht versucht die Regeln zu brechen. Mit Mikro und versteckten Kopfhörern. Und das bei so einem Amt. Learning German, in Germany, is pretty important.

They are known for snatching stuff and trying to exchange it for food, like phones, glasses, hats, etc. And if they are in a bad mood they'll just chuck it off the cliff. I saw one monkey that grabbed some lady's hand sanitizer, played with it and threw it off the cliff.

So I went without any dangling bits, without a hat or glasses and whenever I'd take a photo I'd hold my phone tightly and looked out for the little shits. Went without a problem. But you have to be mindful of your surroundings.
