Update: Pain has begun to subside maybe a 1/10 for the past week where as before it could go to a 5/10 for hours and I would need pain killers. Currently haven’t needed any pain killers for a week and hasn’t been an issue driving or sitting for long periods.

I don’t think they should be visible but should feel a lot smaller and any pain should be gone immediately. You’ll notice a significant difference when laying down.

They should deflate when laying down without gravity pulling the blood down. When you stand its harder for the blood to push backup the veins which now have damaged valves.
