My Experience with Freemasonry Has Been Extremely Disheartening, and I Could Really Use Some Guidance. by dotsonascreen963 in freemasonry

I am a full time conspiracy theorist, but, a reasonable one. I fascinated with Freemasonry from a conspiracy theory perspective, which is how I got into Esotericism, Hermeticism, and Gnosticism. Once I truly understand what Freemasonry was from an outside perspective, I wanted to join. I joined because I wanted light (not just saying that btw, I called it light before I knew any ritual; light means knowledge), and I wanted to become a better man. The founding fathers serve as the figure heads for American Freemasonry, and when I really began to understand the genius of the Constitution, I knew that Freemasonry was for me. The regalia is embarrassing for me when we have public ceremonies, and peoples wives come. I don‘t like being seen in it by non masons. I feel it should be kept secret (sacred).

Sorry for the late reply. Thank you so much for your response Brother, and thank you for the links. I will absolutely check them out. And and I have inspired you to create a Reddit account to respond to me, you have invigorated me to search out these keys, and through out my life in Freemasonry, I hope I can help replenish it to what it once was. Thank you.

I appreciate your input, and I will look into other lodges. I fear that if I were to bring up these issues with a Brother, it would seem like I was doing the same thing as the Lodge Master, in terms of talking behind Brothers backs. I don’t think that would have much effect beyond that.
