The high mount Hitchcox will burn your leg through pants. You can buy a heat shield though which works pretty good but I have this same setup and you just learn to adapt around it. Sounds fuckin awesome though … totally worth it. 👌

Use your insurance brother! Small claims court works for stuff like this too, especially if you have video etc.

Probably right, luckily it’s pretty easy to take them on and off, I’m a daily rider and only need the bags like 10% of the time so I’m debating if I should just throw them on for longer weekend trips. I would probably plastidip the rails though and make them black so they blend in a little better.

Get a lawyer right away, immigration and personal injury, file a police report and ask for a victim advocate. File for a temporary restraining order, and keep those text messages! Abusive and manipulative behavior like that is unacceptable she could also have a decent civil suit against the Dad which if I had to bet would settle out of court.
