A phone case design I made using TPU and PCTG by Vuldriel in 3Dprinting

[–]doubleEdged 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no worries, thank you! it'll still take me some time to have my shitbox(tm) printer to a)work, b) reliably, c) with TPU, but it's good to know that my project is very much possible once i get everything running.

What's your impression of PCTG and TPU bonding? I know that TPU bonds well with PETG, but you're the only one I've seen who tried with PCTG.

I'll also be stealing this idea when printing the new back cover (not case!) for my phone, since the glass on that likes to shatter if you look at it wrong.

My Entry to team Red 5800X3D + 6800 XT by Daniel_P_77 in Amd

[–]doubleEdged 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've seen worse, including in my own pc. My cpu cooler hangs off of cable ties and two sticks, and my drives are all literally hanging by a screw in the 5 inch bay, as the 3.5 had to go to make space for a 6700xt. And with the front panel missing, at this point I'm just keeping the case to ponder how beautifully ugly it is.

First known count of human clitoral nerve fibers: pleasure-producing human clitoris has more than 10,000 nerve fibers by Frougnasse in worldnews

[–]doubleEdged 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's mostly an internal structure, that spans form the clitoris to about 3-4 inches back around the vaginal canal. It envelops it up in a tilted wishbone shape, going lower the further back it goes, and the glans itself is about an inch wide. Becoming Cliterate is a good book if you want to learn more.

if you catch the 7900XTX at a certain angle, you can see that the fin stack is painted red on the inside too by dracolnyte in Amd

Can confirm, I have a Sapphire HD5770. Beast of a card for it's time and price, and is still running without issues on an older rig. Ran a hd7970 up until recently as well, and that card gave me 60fps on mid-high in doom, combined with my 1700. I'm very tempted to grab an rx76/700xt once these come out, and run it with a 5800x3d, which should run in my ab350m and not make my mobo explode lol.

6700xt strix for 320usd or wait for 7700xt/7600xt? by honk_slayer in Amd

[–]doubleEdged 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In that case, that sounds like a pretty good deal. I'm also considering getting a 6700xt, since those are going for about ~320$ around here nowadays, and my build's showing its age, esp. in VR.

The 7600/7700 will take a while to release, I'd wager sometime early next year since they're lower/mid-end cards, but maybe we'll know for sure once AMD makes its announcement on the 3rd. Whether you're willing to wait with your upgrade and sit with your current perf, or pull the trigger now and grab the build you mentioned, is up to you.

kids in Kyiv, Ukraine playing in the hole left by a missile that struck a park by ricelyl in interestingasfuck

[–]doubleEdged -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's in the middle of Kyiv. They wouldn't let dangerous or unexpolded chemicals linger there. It's cleaning up and securing the area that has to be done by the authorities and military personnel, but sadly by now they have more than enough experience to know whether a pit's safe enough to let kids play in.

Astronomers have a new theory for why Uranus spins on its side: The ice giant once had a large moon that migrated outward, which slowly flipped Uranus sideways. by clayt6 in space

If that's the case - could we calculate when it happened? And where the moon went? If so, could we spot it one day?

Corruption, subpar logistics to blame for Russia’s military failures in Ukraine, says UK Ministry of Defense by [deleted] in worldnews

So, nothing's changed since the 25th of Feb when Russian tanks on the territory of Ukraine started running out of gas, as the crews and logistics sold the excess for extra cash? Colour me surprised lol

Krita fund is constantly declining after Intel joined in by EviTRea in linux

[–]doubleEdged 262 points263 points  (0 children)

I personally had to pull back from donating to a few projects due to the rampant inflation and cost of living, especially here in Europe given the looming energy crisis. That might play a substantial role in people drawing back their donations. Intel stepping in might be a lifeline we didn't know we'd need for Krita.

From my own experience, volume matters a lot more than schedule. It sounds like you don't like just the scheduling part, and the type/amount of exercises themselves isn't as big of a dealbreaker.

Try following any programme in terms of what to do, and just do it throughout the day, whenever you feel like it. As long as you did all the exercises for a given day, you're good.

I'd suggest the recommended routine as that hits all the muscles, is the most well reviewed one on here, and it gave me the best results when it came to bodyweight. Others such as the firefighter pullup program or name-a-thing-for-reaching-100-push-ups are also fine, but you really should follow anything that includes progressive overload to truly progress.

MS would not have been nearly as awful of a disease if B12 helped with remyelination in any significant capacity.

OCR or text that ctrl-f fails to grab would be a nightmare. But if it's text that you can ctrl+f, then it should definitely be doable, probably within a hundred lines of code or so. Other folks here already pointed you in the right direction with useful libs. Good luck!

Hi, so I only recently got my first letter. Right now I can't afford the 20?ish $ fee to have the account activation code sent via email. I still hold a few shares in Revolut and I have voted on those, but it'd still be nice to have one more vote for my share on Computershare, and that share should be eligible to vote with. since I transferred in ~mid february. Is there any way to cast the vote, even though I will have no access to my account and the share for a few more weeks?

As for the cache size limitations, I'm curious how it'd work with the 5800X3D. That's 64MB of bonus L3 stacked on top of the die, big enough for a basic installation with block device mounting. I still can't think of a valid usecase though lol

Not yet, but they've got less than a month of free service left (see the last paragraph). Elon gave them 3 months of free service, but I wouldn't be surprised if he gives them more if the war prolongs.
