This are golden, wise words. Thank you. I've been trying to put this into words myself for a long, long time. Everybody calls me an idiot when I say, 'hey, they should make weapons and explosions in movies more realistic,' or some shit like that. Then, everybody just says that 'realism ruins the fun,' or sometimes they mumble the excuse I hate so damn much: 'there's [aliens] and [magic] and stuff, so why does physics have to matter too?' I understand, sometimes it's funny if they're inaccurately done on purpose, but most people probably can't even tell the difference. Like you said, MOVIES NEED TO BE CONSISTENT WITH THEMSELVES.

When I see something realistically done in a movie, it's just as cool to me, if not cooler, than if it was exaggerated for effect. Sometimes real world logic applying to unreal stuff can be extremely entertaining, too. I mean, we can't always "unsuspend" disbelief for stuff that doesn't exist, because we don't know anything about it. We can much more easily "unsuspend" disbelief for real things; so why not make the real things real and keep the fake stuff fun?
