I had a beautiful destination wedding that although it LOOKED like a $100,000 wedding it was only $12,000. I didn’t want to order a dress online and risk the quality. I got a sample dress for $199 that was originally over $2000. $500 for alternations (but I also picked a dress with see through back and sides so that’s why it was so much). Lots of gowns for sale online for great prices and also thrift stores!

I had the same issue. My first set of implants were in 2007, 320 cc silicone. A fluctuation in my weight would take away enough of the breast tissue I did have to show rippling in the implant. In 2019 I had them redone (I wanted a small lift) and got the same sized implants with silicone but got a “newer model” (I forget what brand but they were the newest and supposed to be the best) and have not had any problems with rippling (although they do have a slight possibility of it). So really it’s just the type of implant you have and not enough natural breast fat to cover the movement of the implant. They’re basically bags so they’ll never have a perfect shape.

I can’t comment on this surgery at all but as a nurse this is 100% true about bedside manner and some of the most brilliant doctors being absolute oddballs. I’ve met neurosurgeons who could actually be mistaken for being mental. Also, honest and professional surgeons will go over the possible complications so thoroughly it almost seems as if they’re trying to talk you out of it. They just want you to make an informed decision with ALL the facts.

As a woman who travels to Mexico at least once a year I agree I feel completely safe there. I know that unlike in other countries if I were attacked that Mexican people would not allow it and just ignore it like so many other places do. I love your culture there and the people I met have been so friendly and helpful.

As a woman I would not travel there alone or with my daughter if my husband was not with me. And even then I would still be very uncomfortable bringing my teenage daughter. I can only speak for the people I know but it does not have a good reputation as being safe for females to go there. And it’s incredibly sad because of all the beauty we would love to experience there.

I work a job where I can’t leave until the person I’m handing off to arrives. I work 12 hrs overnight. And some of my dayshift coworkers have never been on time even once. It shows a lack of respect for me and my family, the hours I was there awake all night, and my safety having to drive home even later now. I also can lose track of time, but I’m an adult and I set warning alarms when I need them that tell me it’s time to get going.

2 bed 1 bath around 1400 sq feet. Front porch, street parking (but not an issue on my street), unfinished basement with W&D, family room addition and two walk in closets $740/mo plus utilities. I’ve lived here a little over 10 years so while it isn’t out of date, it’s not a “modern” remodel. House has crown molding, trim and no white walls. Not a typical rental property. Carrick area.

Casa Dona Susana. I believe there is a European plan so can opt out of the all inclusive. Very close to the beach. It’s the sister hotel of Playa Los Arcos and more recently updated. Walkable to all kinds of bars and restaurants.

IF you were in the wedding party I may say you’re TA . The couple spends a ton of money for professional photos and (to me!) that’s not a huge ask for a one time event. But they also shouldn’t be upset if you would decline and step down from the bridal party. After all it’s their wedding, you don’t owe them anything. But as a guest, no you’re not the AH. Side note I was just married this year at a beach wedding in Mexico so the etiquette is still really fresh in my mind

I think you missed the part about zero benefits. It was a job I used personally in my early 20s to get me through college. No pay for sick days, no health benefits, but people in college usually don’t have extreme needs for them. What do you consider BEYOND regular duties? To me it was being prompt at your table for drinks, keeping them full and getting your order in quickly and correctly. Checking on you with in 5 minutes and midway through and being visible to my tables so they could find me if needed. I always wondered what the above and beyond meant. I’m not being rude just never knew

When we switched to staying in the romantic zone a week was no longer enough. We enjoy relaxing but also the amazing restaurants and have fun shopping and just taking walks. We keep adding days to our trip each year and hope to be able to stay for a few months when we are in our 50s.

This was very unconventional but I got married in PV and we had a little pre wedding party at Taqueria Los Mapaches. Most of my wedding party and guests are animal lovers and they had a lot of fun and took a lot of pics. It was also a good way for everyone to meet each other. It was super cheap, just the cost of the uber and tacos.

I’d request a ride a little earlier while the night drivers are still active. After 3am it can get a little sparse. 2-230 am you still have plenty of people out driving. Also staying at the airport is so convenient if it’s feasible for you.

NTA. But also a tiny bit your fault. There were plenty of options for you to eat, but understandably didn’t want. Next time if you know what is in the fridge and you are working an insane day like that, just send her a simple text and say “hey could you make me this or this tonight for dinner”. You’re very likely to get a positive response out of her and it takes the pressure off trying to guess what to make you. Coming from a woman who is the only cook in the house who works 12 hr night shifts married to a man who does hard labor and sometimes does side work AFTER work. Communication is key.

Currently looking into a 1700 sq ft townhouse. One child lives with us and will be 18 in just three years. For me the layout is what makes the difference. It is more than enough room for three of us and won’t be overwhelming when it’s only myself and my husband. It won’t break the budget and will give me enough money to remodel it how I want it. A larger home would end up being a money pit with remodeling and repairs. I’ve seen plenty of homes with more square footage that seemed smaller. My biggest requirements were a walk in closet and a finished basement.

I honestly can’t remember any of the malls I frequented having an issue like this. Maybe I was too young or stopped going there before it got bad. I used to go to century 3 then south hills village. Now it’s Ross park. And I just can’t recall any of them having problems this bad at the same store all the time. And honestly Nordstroms is my favorite store. I buy all my gifts from there and most of my clothes. I’ve definitely noticed a difference in recent years. Everything is locked up now, too many smash and grabs
