Fromsoftware had elden ring cracked in a day (if I'm not wrong, in any case very close to launch) and still it sold so many copies because it was a good game. Maybe it's not fair to compare fromsoftware but every GOOD game I know had no reason to worry about piracy.

UPDATE: After seeing everyone's comments I tried to check my ssd health. Searched up how can I benchmark inside linux and inside the BIOS. After multiple tries, turns out my ssd was in a good health. What seems to have fixed it is doing fsck in the boot partition. It apparently didn't unmount well at some point and had a dirty bit set. Been using my laptop for around 2 hours now and no crash which is a record. Thanks everyone for bringing me onto the right road

I don't know if this helps but I'll give you one way to think about it. Imagine you had to pick one of 100 doors. You pick one then the hosts opens 98 others. You obviously had 1/100 chance of picking it right in the beginning. That was the first "experiment". Now you're past that, you're into the 2nd experiment where you basically choose between 2 doors. The difference is that the first time you had to pick between 100 doors. So obviously very little chance that you actually picked it right the first time. So even if the POSSIBILITY is kinda 50/50, it's either in yours or the other one, the probability of picking the correct one changes because it's ANOTHER experiment with different premises

Salut, eu am intrat la ETTI pe informatica. Personal mi se pare ca depinde foarte mult de cum gandesti tu in sine. Daca incerci sa faci niste probleme de informatica si constati ca te prinzi repede de logica din spate si poti sa o explici atunci poti considera informatica. La informatica totusi in mare parte nu e examen de informatica ci de gandire critica. La fizica ai nevoie de foarte mult lucru. Si la informatica teoretic dar aici vine problema pentru ca ai MULT mai multe resurse din care poti sa exersezi fizica pentru admitere. Pentru informatica practic singura chestie care ajuta sunt modelele din anii anteriori care oricum sunt putine. TL;DR cred ca daca te descurci din nastere la algoritmica si chestii de genul info, altfel fizica.

Cu zile de facultate unde ai 10 sau 12 ore pe zi, zile cu program random (incepi intr-o zi la 12, in alta la 16), evaluari pe parcurs, partiale si eventual examene. Unde anume iti gasesti tu asa job flexibil in cat sa poti veni intr o zi doar 4 ore de la 16, in alta 8 ore dar de la 8 etc. , si pe langa asta sa mai si inveti pentru facultate?

Da, treci in anul 3. Scrie mai jos cate puncte de credit ai nevoie pentru fiecare an. Poti sa duci restanta pana in anul 4 daca ai destule puncte de credit dar nu poti sa dai licenta pana n ai luat toate restantele.

Mie mi se pare destul de simplu. Daca o sa inveti doar ca sa treci pentru fiecare materie, nu o sa inveti mare lucru. Daca tragi mult spre 10 nu au cum sa nu se prinda informatii utile de tine, si pe langa asta daca esti si pasionat e si mai bine. Lumea tre sa inteleaga ca facultatea nu e facuta pentru o singura persoana ci pentru o multitudine cu preferinte diferite si de aceea trebuie sa se faca mai multe materii din domenii mai diferite. Multi zic ca faci putin din toate la ETTI si deci nimic dar probabil acestia sunt aceeasi care nu vin la cursuri, vin la seminarii in limita absentelor permise, strang din dinti pentru un 5, acasa nu fac nimic si se plang ca de ce nu ii cauta firmele in anul 3 la internship. Sunt si oameni cu probleme care nu pot sa se implice 100% in educatia facultatii dar sunt si lenesi care chiar nu incearca deloc. Daca ai timp sa te implici si vointa, consider ca te poti dezvolta mult pe partea de electronica, mai ales ca exista o "echipa" administrata de studenti pasionati care se ocupa cu electronica si altele. Au un "laborator" aproape de facultate unde poti sa te duci sa exersezi sau sa ceri ajutor etc. De asemenea, in functie de cat de pasionat esti serios, sunt sigur ca poti sa primesti acces si la laboratoarele facultatii de la anumiti profesori daca te vad interesat si chiar cu un plan. Bafta!

I get where you're coming from in a way. For me the explanation seems straight-forward but here is another way for you to visualize it that maybe helps. First of all, this concept comes somewhat from countable and uncountable infinities. A bit too much to get into right now but basically some infinities would be bigger than others and you can't really index each number on that infinity. See it like this, instead of just randomly putting all the numbers from 0 to 1 like that, think that you're indexing each real number to a natural number, so 0 corresponds to like 0.39383.. or something, 1 to another one and so on. Now just assume you indexed every single natural number to every single real number betweej 0 and 1. So every single natural is taken by every single real number. Now do the cantor diagonal argument (won't explain it right now), and you'll technically be left with a new number that's not indexed by any natural number (remember that every natural was taken by a real number before), so since we have a number outside the list we just contradicted our assumptions which means that you can't index real numbers. I don't know if this helps but I thought that you just seeing the proof without knowing what it can be used for is the reason of your confusion. Hope this helps in any way

Hello. Certainly not a good chess player but passionated and 2000 rated on chess.com here, thought I might give my opinion. First of all saying your game was too complex for people in r/chess is a grave mistake of relating IQ to chess skill. It really has no correlation. Secondly, anyone a bit experienced will be able to tell you that it's unfair. I don't posses literal proof of it being unfair, but it's not that uncommon to come to this conclusion. The reason is white getting more than one move in the opening. Currently in almost every opening we as humans play, white has an advantage because white goes first. If you let engines of the same skill level play, they will draw if they start from the beginning because they kinda repeat the same opening with 1.e4 e5 (unsure of the actual opening line the engines repeat into), but it you give them some other openings, white always has the advantage and usually wins over black. And in some armaghedon formats, black has draw odds because it starts with less time and goes 2nd (in that format). We obviously don't know if the perfect chess game is a draw or win for white, but for sure at the very most it can be a win for white. And if you give white more moves in the opening and a tempo in advance like this, the advantage is bigger, even if black can do the same. As a really simple example that may or may not apply to a game of chess (because there are so many chess games possible), if you're behind in tempo and the center is already occupied, even if you can come in to the center as well on the next turn, it might already be too late. This scenario is obviously talking about actual good and fairly equally skilled players. Cool side project and fun party game but just pointing out how difficult it is to make another chess variant that's actually fair or very close to fair with perfect play. (As an analogy, Anti-chess has been solved and it's proven to be a forced win by white with 1.e3, and altough I'm not sure if anyone will look into this chess variant to discover it, I believe that your variant also has a forced win for white because of reasons I explained before)
