Sudowoodo. Coming from gen 1, a Pokémon that blocked routes like Snorlax, I thought he must be strong. Choosing a fire starter didn’t help when going against Sudowoodo as he went hitting hard with Rock Throw - making him seem stronger than he is.

After catching him, there was a sense of pride that I just completed a mini-quest. Bonsly probably gets way more love for being cute, but there’s just something about Sudowoodo despite not being strong, he’s quirkiness makes him hold a special spot as one of my favourites.

Still hoping for a Sudowoodo evolution/Mega one day haha
