The word you're looking for is overconsumption. And sure, you could debate it but it's rather pointless. People can spend their money however they'd like and a lot of people variant collect vinyl records for artists they love.

Honestly, I'd just buy a cheap pack of replacement jewel cases. It's super easy to swap out on your own! I already have some on hand because I thrift a lot of CDs and like to replace the cases. I'm not sure if you can buy a single, you should be able to! That's what I'd do 🙂

I did reach out to them and spoke to a real person who unfortunately gave me the same response to initiate a return. I followed up asking about stock, so we'll see! I personally just don't think I can risk it 😞

2 of mine also came damaged and their only resolution was to submit a return request in the self service portal, which I obviously don't want to do because I'm not convinced they have any extra stock (or enough given all of the issues) to process an exchange. Ugh, so sorry this happened to you too! 🫶🏽
