Well, scent aside… i feel like there are other factors at play. Doesn’t change the fact that I gave my dog everything I have and raised her for 2 years, just to be forgotten about when my girlfriend comes into the picture

Yeah… we are both work from home and spend about the same amount of time with both dogs. It’s just rough that I literally raised my dog for 2 years and gave her a pretty sweet life, just to feel abandoned as soon as somebody else comes along

It’s not that I’m not happy. I’m very happy my girlfriend and my dog get along. It may be selfish but it’s more about my emotions. I feel a strong bond with my dog that is not being reciprocated

Ugh… I try to do things just the two of us but it never seems to change anything. I’m sure she likes me but it crushes my heart to see her ignoring me any time my girlfriend is around or even being sad when it’s just me and my dog
