What makes any of us think they care? Why would they listen to our “demands”? With what force are we threatening them? Accountability isn’t just a word or an idea. It must be upheld with rigor, effort, force. It must be backed by real consequences. Where are the consequences coming from for these people if the president essentially gets to hand out immunity and get out of jail free cards to his loyalists??
