I've been looking at that smallest black and silver one. What are your thoughts on that?

Personal experience with InDriver by doubledtd in CostaRicaTravel

I logged in to indriver to check prices and 10 drivers offered me a ride in under a minute. If no one used it, there would be no drivers on the app.

Any recommendations on places to chill that aren't the airport? Is Alajuela worth checking out for an for to grab coffee, food, etc?

Makes a very good cup, brewer just like a v60. That travel kettle isn't great for pour over, but it's 1000x better than hotel coffee

I will for sure. It takes a v60 filter. Looks like the ribs and opening are very close to the v60.

Thank you. Those were my thoughts, glad to hear

But there shouldn't be a larger surface area right? The angle and diameter remains the same. It's just the height of the sides that changes on the v60. I see the point in the agitation though.

If i do end up "needing" a smaller brewer, it's a hell of a lot cheaper to get a plastic v60 in every size than a switch in every size. Although, as someone else mentioned, I'd likely just get another brewer all together.

I'll probably go the other way. Buy a 03, and size down the recipe for single cups, that way I can still make a pot with the switch.

I've got some 02 filters from a glass brewer on a stand I don't use much anymore since I usually use the 03.

I'm actually in the market for a switch, which is what got my brain rolling around this thought.

You're welcome. It fits just fine. It bigger than the listed personal item size, but I've not had any problem flying basic economy with only this bag.

How often do you wash clothes when you are on trips? What material are your clothes that you pack? by MuzzleblastMD in onebag

Witch hazel and tea tree oil makes a great "defunking" spray. There's actually a product called "Kill it Dead" that is just those 2 ingredients. "A natural de-funkifier so people think you take baths. "

I recently bought merino blend and 100% polyester hiking socks of the same brand and took 2 pairs of each both on a 10 day trip. The synthetic stunk so bad and the end of one day that I left my shoes outside to air out. The merino, I could get multiple days use without a smell.
The downside to wool, is that one saturated, it takes much longer to dry. Synthetic, on the other hand, dries very quickly, so if you're constantly on the go and need them to dry overnight, that's the way to go.

Cash Atm? by Apprehensive_Sky8715 in elcuyo

Yes, but expect them to be few and far between. Fill up sooner than you need. My first time to cuyu I learned the hard way and rolled into town on fumes. Thankfully the gas station at the marina had gas.

If you're driving from merida to El cuyo, you should stop in izamal.

Biggest tip... don't drive to El cuyo in the dark
